There is no room quite like the one where women decide together.

On May 20, 470 members of Impact 100 NYC had the privilege of doing something that doesn’t happen in many places - cast votes to award $470,000 in grants to NYC nonprofits.No hierarchy. No board deciding behind closed doors. Just women, doing the research, and making the call.

This year was our biggest grant gift to date and at 6 years young, we are still just getting started.

We are thrilled to announce the 2026 Impact 100 NYC Innovation Grantees:

Big Give is tomorrow and here’s what you need to know:
Location: Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center ~ 129 W 67th Street, Manhattan
Dress code: business casual (think: blazer + pants or an easy dress)
Doors: 6:00 PM
Program: 6:15
Other: You must be registered! Arrive on time to check in and find your seat. The presentation will be followed by light bites and mingling.

What is the Big GIve? Our signature annual celebration and grant awards event! It is the culmination of the our collective giving process. At the event, members come together to celebrate NYC nonprofits, hear from last years grantees and officially announce and award $470,000 in transformational grants to organizations making a difference across the five boroughs.

As we conclude our Innovation Grant finalist series, we’re proud to share the organizations Impact 100 NYC has been learning from...each one driving meaningful change. Now, all members will come together to vote and decide which grantees will receive this year’s $100,000 awards at our Big Give on May 20, 2026.

Next up: Teens for Food Justice (TFFJ)
Teens for Food Justice is building a food-secure future through school-based, youth-led hydroponic farming that brings fresh, sustainably grown produce directly into food desert communities while advancing equity in health, education, and opportunity.

With support from Impact 100 NYC, TFFJ would like to expand its capacity to better serve students with disabilities particularly within campuses that include District 75 programs, which support students with significant intellectual, emotional, and physical disabilities, including autism and other learning differences. This project will transform hydroponic farming into a more accessible, multi-sensory, and therapeutic learning experience for students with disabilities while strengthening the program for all learners to ensure more young people can learn, grow, and thrive through experiential education.

Impact 100 NYC will award four $100,000 Innovation Grants at our Big Give event on May 20, 2026! As we continue our finalist series, we’re shining a light on organizations building bold innovative pathways to opportunity across New York City.

Next up: Rockaway Initiative for Sustainability & Equity (RISE)
RISE is a catalyst for positive change in Far Rockaway, Queens that brings residents together to advance social equity and strengthen the well-being of their coastal community.

With support from Impact 100 NYC, RISE seeks to expand its Rockaway Dune Restoration Project and Native Nursery, Seed Bank, and Educational Garden, a community-driven effort to protect the shoreline and build climate resilience along a 3-mile stretch. This work includes restoring protective dunes to reduce storm surge and flooding, growing native plants at a locally operated nursery, and engaging both youth interns and local adults through the “Dune Squad.” Together, they will maintain the dunes, collect and propagate seeds, and lead large-scale community cleanups and plantings that engage hundreds of residents.
