Northside President Paula Magnus was proud to join community leaders, healthcare advocates, and elected officials at the 40th Somos Inc. reception at El Museo del Barrio, connecting with colleagues and sharing ideas about how we can continue strengthening care for children and families across New York.
At Northside, conversations about health equity are personal. Every day, we see what it means when a child can get the behavioral or mental health support they need, when a family has a trusted place to turn, or when a young child has access to services that help them learn, grow, and thrive.
Making that possible takes more than access to care. It takes strong leadership, meaningful partnerships, sustained investment, and reimbursement structures that give community-based organizations the resources to provide high-quality services and be there for families when they need us.
Our mission calls us to be an active part of the communities we serve, and to have a voice in the conversations shaping their future. We are proud to continue advocating for the children and families who are at the heart of everything we do. ๐
