Meet the newest member of the New Orleans ToolBank crew, Gabe Wooten, our Tool Lending Specialist!

Gabe brings a whole lot of heart (and a little Midwest charm) to the team. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, he first made his way to New Orleans back in 2015. Since then, he’s worn many hats, from tending bar to volunteering with the Archdiocese in an after‑school program, all while planting deep roots across the city he now calls home.

These days, you’ll find Gabe living in the 9th Ward with his dog, Josh, and keeping the ToolBank humming with his passion for helping neighbors power their projects. And speaking of power, his favorite tool is the generator, which feels just right for life in New Orleans.

We’re thrilled to have Gabe on board. Join us in welcoming him to the ToolBank family and keep an eye out for him as you connect with us for your next tool appointment.
