At The Lambda Center, we believe recovery can create space to reconnect (or connect for the first time!) with who we are, to be honest with ourselves, and to experience life with greater freedom and presence.

For many of us, Pride and recovery share something meaningful: both can make room for truth, belonging, connection, and fun!

We’re excited to host Meditate + Create, a new open AA meeting centered on meditation, reflection, and creative expression.

Together, we’ll begin with a Daily Reflection, share a brief meditation, spend time creating in silence, and then open the room for fellowship and sharing.

No artistic experience is necessary. This isn’t about making “good” art—it’s about making space. Space to slow down, connect with something outside OR inside of yourself through making. Open to all 12-step fellowships and anyone interested in recovery.

The raffle was a huge success, we welcomed new Friends of Lambda, and the bonnet contest was nothing short of amazing. The creativity, color, and community spirit were truly something special.
