We're hoping to find a home where Travis can truly thrive.

After being rescued, Travis was adopted into a loving home with the dog he was originally found roaming alongside. While they were believed to be bonded, his adopters have learned that Travis has taken on the role of protector and is constantly on alert for her. Because of this, they feel he deserves a life of his own, one where he can finally relax and just be a dog.
When he's able to let his guard down, Travis is a sweet, goofy, affectionate boy who loves people, has done well meeting new faces, and has been great with the children in his home.
This isn't about Travis being a bad dog. His family loves him enough to recognize that he would thrive as the only dog in the home, and this has been a tough decision for them to make.
We're hoping to find Travis the home he deserves, a home as an only dog where he can truly settle in, relax, and enjoy being a dog, not a babysitter for his k-9 companion. Link below to apply for this most handsome, lovable boy!

💪Small but mighty.💛

Meet Ruthie, a petite yet fierce (in a good way) Boston Terrier named in honor of the great RBG. Like her namesake, Ruthie is strong, determined, and resilient.

After surviving on the streets, Ruthie is safe with us. She has already shown us she is sweet, smart, and full of spirit. ❤️

Ruthie is scheduled for veterinary care, and we’ll have more updates on her health soon. For now, she’s settling into foster life, but she is in search of a forever home where she can rest, heal, and be cherished.

Drumroll please… PAISLEY IS SAFE❣️

We have some wonderful news to share!
After a very stressful day where Paisley was unexpectedly left without a foster placement because she was deemed "too small” by the applicant who begged us to help her, we are thrilled to report that she is now safe and sound in rescue.
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteer Kelly and her family on Long Island for taking Paisley at a moment's notice. When Paisley needed help, Kelly stepped up without hesitation, and we couldn't be more grateful.
This sweet girl is finally able to relax and decompress in a safe environment while we continue the search for her perfect forever home.
Please join us in thanking Kelly and her family for being the kind of people every rescue dog deserves. ❤️

FOSTER HOME FOUND!
We are grateful to all those reaching out to help!

We are incredibly disappointed today.

An applicant who repeatedly contacted us about Paisley, urged us to approve her quickly, and agreed to foster her walked away from the surrender after seeing the dog because she "didn't like the look of her."

This was especially upsetting because fostering is meant to provide a safe landing spot while we continue searching for the right forever home. She was never obligated to keep Paisley permanently. We were simply trying to get this dog to safety.

Because of her commitment to help, Paisley's owner drove three hours to meet the home this morning. Our volunteers worked urgently behind the scenes to coordinate everything and get Paisley into a safe foster home. Instead, the owner had to turn around and drive three hours back home with Paisley after being told she was "too small" and that a bigger dog was preferred.

The good news is that Paisley is still safe. The bad news is that she is still in need of a foster or adopter.

Paisley is 6 years old, a wonderful girl, and is being rehomed due to conflict with her littermate sister. She is roughly 45 lbs. She has lived with children over the age of 10 and deserves a chance. No cats please.
