Hudson River Riders We provide paddling opportunities in kayaking, and stand-up-paddlebording in Yonkers on the Hudson River.

A program of the Yonkers Paddling & Rowing Club that provides recreational access to and environmental awareness of the Hudson River for undeserved communities through free kayak paddles, along with tours and training.

Highlights from our Kayak Edging & Bracing class and sunset paddle led by Chev Dixon & Paddle_With_Davin . All these wonderful student got to learn how to prevent a capsize(boat flipping) and a how to use your body to correct boat direction! Stay tuned for the next class :)

Last week we hosted two classes: a fitness class with Chelsie Reid, NASM-CPT and a forward stroke class led by Chev Dixon & Paddle_With_Davin. These classes were exactly what our members and students needed. Our students learned a few paddling exercises they can do at home, how to select a paddle, on water skills and so much more.
