Today is VFW Day!

On September 29, 1899, a small group of Spanish-America War Veterans joined together to form an organization that would become one of our nation’s most influential advocates for combat Veterans.

Team FileBank joins those combat Veterans in celebrating the birthday of that great organization, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and the selfless service of its members.

FileBank is honored to partner with the Veterans Administration and state and county Veterans Service Offices in preserving our Veterans' medical and service records. Digitizing those records so that they’re accessible in seconds is critical to providing timely and effective service to our awesome Veterans and their families.

Happy Birthday, VFW, and thank you for all that you do to serve those who have served us so well and honorably!
