Mission: Uniting a Culture of Commerce in Sullivan County. The Chamber was formed in 1974, as an advocacy group to combat escalating gasoline prices and their effects on the tourism industry. The Chamber has continued that tradition while expanding the Chamber’s profile, reach and member base. The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce and Industry is established for the purpose of bringing together

the business and professional interests of the county, permitting them to accomplish collectively what none could do individually. The focus and objective of the Chamber shall be the growth and retention of its member businesses and other enterprises in Sullivan County. The Chamber shall serve as a point of contact and center of information, facilitation and exchange between providers and those in need of information useful in the conduct of business and marketing. Although nonpolitical in nature, the Chamber shall when appropriate, represent the consensus of its membership on legislative and political issues directly affecting business and commerce.

Celebrating a major milestone today 🎉
The Funky Hippy Chic Boutique is marking 10 years in its current location on Resorts World Drive, right between the casino and the water park.

The owner shares how the shop started back in 2009, inspired by looking through her own closet and asking what she would actually wear 🛍️
That simple idea turned into a boutique built around ethnic clothing, unique jewelry, and one of a kind pieces that stand out from anything mass produced.

It’s all about staying true to individuality and personal style. Customers keep coming back because they know they will find something different here, something they will not see everywhere else ✨

A successful ribbon cutting celebration for the new inclusive playground and dog park at East Mongaup River Park at the Orchard! 🎉🐾

It was wonderful to join the Town of Thompson NY , community leaders, residents, families, and local businesses in celebrating these exciting new recreational amenities. The inclusive playground features accessible and ADA-compliant elements designed to create a welcoming play experience for children of all abilities, while the new dog park provides a dedicated space for dogs and their owners to enjoy the outdoors together.

This project was made possible in part through a Community Impact Grant from Sullivan 180 and the support of former Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther.

The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce is honored to celebrate a remarkable milestone with the Forestburgh Playhouse as they mark 80 incredible years of storytelling, creativity, and live performance in the Sullivan Catskills 🎭✨

What began in 1947 as a dream shared by a group of young actors who discovered an old barn in Forestburgh became something truly unforgettable, a stage where stories came alive, music filled the air, and generations gathered to experience the magic of theatre.

Now, eighty years later, we invite you to join us for the Forestburgh Playhouse 80th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting & Celebration as we honor this extraordinary legacy and raise a glass to the future ✂️🥂

A great day in Monticello as the community came together to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Step One. ✂️

Step One Outpatient Services has officially opened its new facility, providing outpatient substance use and mental health treatment services, including individual counseling, group sessions, and family support. Their mission is centered on helping the whole person and creating positive change through community connection.

The strong turnout for this celebration reflects the importance of accessible mental health and substance use resources in Sullivan County. It's exciting to welcome a new organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their path to recovery. 🤝
