Thanks to Fort Delaware for running such wonderful free programming for Sullivan County youth.

Thanks to the The Delaware Company, the Sullivan County Youth Bureau, and super volunteers Elsie Kopcha and Howard Wasserman, Fort Delaware will host about 1000 students free of charge by the end of the school year. Although we have been able to offer some school districts sponsored trips in the past, this is the first year we have been able to provide free visits to all interested schools.

What a great way to celebrate America’s Semiquincentennial!

Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History is located on the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway at 6615 Route 97 in Narrowsburg, NY. Open to the public weekends in June, September , and October, and Thursday thru Sunday in July and August.

Sullivan County government offices will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. The County encourages everyone to attend Memorial Day events this weekend to honor our deceased veterans, so many of whom sacrificed their lives for this nation and our freedoms.
