of faith communities, community organizations, and interested individuals for dialogue,
information sharing, celebration, and social transformation. The Monticello Interfaith
Council does not exist to prom

ote any one religion over the other, or religion itself per
se but to provide a safe haven for open inquiry and discussion amongst individuals
who sincerely desire the "good of the whole" and connection with others who have
questions about, and interest in, spiritual and ethical practices common to all forms of
all religions. Therefore, the Monticello Interfaith Council is open to all individuals
regardless of race, color, religion or belief, national or ethnic origin, citizenship, marital
or domestic partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age,
disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal,
state, or local law. It is not necessary for an individual interested in participating in the
activities of this organization, or who wishes to be part of its family, to profess
allegiance to any faith or creed.

The Monticello Interfaith Council is hosting an open meeting on Tuesday, June 7 from 6:30 to 8 PM at the arts haven ( St. John’s Episcopal Church Rectory) located at 15 St. John’s Street in Monticello.

A group discussion will focus on fellowship and community. All are welcome to attend, engage, listen and enjoy and a mutually respectful environment.
