Planting Knowledge Summer Camp is full of food, play, and learning!

The last two weeks, students have been learning about plant science and ecology, while spending time outdoors and visiting the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden 🌼

We've also had a blast cooking with garden harvests like pizza day with dough generously donated from Northern Fires Pizza and soup day with amazing bread provided by Brake Bread πŸ₯–πŸ₯¬πŸ•

Bring your kids to the next Seed Sunset on August 12 for a good time!

Rain or shine, apprentices are out here!

This summer, we're hosting nine apprentices across our Education and Farm programs.

Apprentices gain exposure to a variety of professional development skills, from wood working to agriculture to program management.

We're so proud of the work they're doing to nurture our urban farm sites, support youth summer camps, plus map out the Roof Depot parking lot urban farm infrastructure.

Stay tuned for an apprentice-led workshop coming up later this month!
