A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported our annual fundraiser and for helping us make this such a successful event! Whether you attended the event, purchased raffle tickets, donated gift cards, or made a financial contribution, we are so grateful for your support!

This year, proceeds will help us purchase an outdoor picnic table, a patio swing, and exercise equipment, including a treadmill. These additions will provide meaningful opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and wellness. If you would still like to support our cause, donations can be made through our website at https://www.givemn.org/organization/Metro-Work-Center

Our piano is finally out and about in Downtown Minneapolis! 🎹

There’s something pretty special about seeing an instrument that brings so much music, joy, and connection become part of the city around us.

If you’re downtown, be sure to stop by the Nordic, check out our piano, and snap a photo! And if you’re feeling musical, join a musician at the piano on Thursdays and add a little music of your own. 🎶

We'll see you all there!

We had such a fun day at Build-A-Bear at the Mall of America! A big thank you to the amazing Build-A-Bear team and our MWC staff for making it such a memorable experience for our participants!

From picking out the perfect furry friend to stuffing it and giving it a special heart, the whole experience was filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement. It was so much fun seeing everyone's personalities shine through in their bear choices! 🧸❤️

What an amazing week of adventures! From exploring the sights and sounds of Mall of America, to cheering on the Minnesota Twins, and enjoying a relaxing outdoor lunch with great friends — every moment was filled with fun and laughter! We are so grateful for the experiences and the people who made these experiences special for the people we serve!

Shout out to all of the staff for making this happen❤️

There’s never a dull moment here at MWC! Our days have been filled with fun, laughter, learning, and exciting adventures!

While we’ve been having plenty of fun with our indoor activities, we’ve also been enjoying time outside with outdoor exercise, fresh air, and staying active together! Our fire truck station tour was a huge hit — everyone loved exploring the trucks, meeting firefighters and learning all about fire safety. 🚒

We can’t wait for even more fun memories ahead! Stay tuned for more!
