Our piano is finally out and about in Downtown Minneapolis! 🎹

There’s something pretty special about seeing an instrument that brings so much music, joy, and connection become part of the city around us.

If you’re downtown, be sure to stop by the Nordic, check out our piano, and snap a photo! And if you’re feeling musical, join a musician at the piano on Thursdays and add a little music of your own. 🎶

This week we spent some time volunteering at the Animal Humane Society, and it was such a rewarding experience! 🐾

One of the highlights was making new friends with two adorable ferrets, Duchess and Jasmine. They were full of personality and curious about everything around them!

A big thank-you to our amazing tour guide, who made the experience even more special. It was so much fun learning more about the animals and all the incredible work the shelter does! Thanks Animal Humane Society for having us!

We had such a fun day at Build-A-Bear at the Mall of America! A big thank you to the amazing Build-A-Bear team and our MWC staff for making it such a memorable experience for our participants!

From picking out the perfect furry friend to stuffing it and giving it a special heart, the whole experience was filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement. It was so much fun seeing everyone's personalities shine through in their bear choices! 🧸❤️

Today, we had the opportunity to volunteer and lend a helping hand to our wonderful community neighbor, Wildflyer Coffee. We helped brighten up their planters with some new soil and plants!

It's inspiring to see an organization that not only serves great coffee but also creates opportunities and makes a positive impact in the lives of young people.

What an amazing week of adventures! From exploring the sights and sounds of Mall of America, to cheering on the Minnesota Twins, and enjoying a relaxing outdoor lunch with great friends — every moment was filled with fun and laughter! We are so grateful for the experiences and the people who made these experiences special for the people we serve!

There’s never a dull moment here at MWC! Our days have been filled with fun, laughter, learning, and exciting adventures!

While we’ve been having plenty of fun with our indoor activities, we’ve also been enjoying time outside with outdoor exercise, fresh air, and staying active together! Our fire truck station tour was a huge hit — everyone loved exploring the trucks, meeting firefighters and learning all about fire safety. 🚒

We can’t wait for even more fun memories ahead! Stay tuned for more!
