Du Nord Foundation Community Market

Du Nord Foundation Community Market While most community pantries have in-person shopping, we’ve moved to an online ordering process for the foreseeable future due to COVID.

We are an initiative of the Du Nord Foundation: We are a community-supported food pantry - a welcoming place for neighbors to find free, healthy & fresh food for their table. Online ordering is easy: https://www.dunordfoundation.org/get-food

If you’re having troubles placing an order online, feel free to call us: 612-460-8123

A BIG Thank You to all of you that joined our efforts in a successful event yesterday!
We had a great time hosting our first ever Produce Distribution event. Our friends Latino Economic Development Center procured all the gorgeous, fresh grown produce from local Latino farmers and Xcel Energy day of service folks helped with boxing the produce CSA style and greeting neighbors.
With your help, we distributed more than 150 boxes that will Nourish Our Neighbors.

Second Harvest Heartland is our Partner of the Month. We asked their team why it was important to partner with us and how they support neighbors experiencing Hunger in our community. Here is what they shared:

"As an agency partner of Second Harvest Heartland, Du Nord Foundation Community Market is able to order food from the food bank including free donated product, inexpensive produce or purchased products sold at cost. This allows Du Nord Foundation Community Market to stretch their food budget in ways that wouldn’t otherwise be available to smaller organizations. Agency partners like Du Nord benefit from state and federal grants that Second Harvest Heartland receives, as well as resources, consultation and agency grant opportunities. Du Nord Foundation is also a partner with Second Harvest Heartland initiative Minnesota Central Kitchen, which provides prepared meals from local kitchens. The Community Market has distributed more than 3,700 meals from Eat for Equity through Minnesota Central Kitchen!

Thank you Second Harvest Heartland for your continued support to help Nourish Our Neighbors!
