A perfect fall day to gather these amazing Minnesota makers for a preview of the local food and craft beverage that you’ll find at the Local Feast! Marketplace on Saturday, November 7 in Rochester at the Mayo Civic Center.

We’ll be on KTTC’s Midwest Access at 4pm this Friday talking about what these vendors will bring and sharing samples with host Viv.

Renewing the Countryside is looking for new board members!

We are seeking individuals with board experience who have a passion for sustainable, vibrant and equitable rural communities and strong urban/rural partnerships.

Skills, background, and knowledge in the following are a plus:

fundraising . organizational development . nonprofit finance . human resource development . located in a rural community or WI . lived experience in diverse communities

Board members commit to the duties and responsibilities outlined in the Board Member Job Description: https://goo.gl/wC7pf2

This includes:

A 3 year term of service, with opportunity to renew for additional terms.
A 5 hour per month time commitment to board activities.
Attending monthly board of director meetings (remotely) and one full day in personal board retreat (Metro Area).
Participation on one committee.
Making an annual donation to Renewing the Countryside of a personally significant amount.
