Hope House has been serving Milwaukee since 1987, working to end homelessness and create healthy communities. Their work goes far beyond providing shelter — Hope House offers housing programs, rapid rehousing, education, food assistance, health services, and community outreach for people experiencing homelessness or facing housing instability.

Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing more about Hope House, the people they serve, the impact they’re making in Milwaukee, and ways we can all help support their mission...because a strong community is one where everyone has a safe place to call home. 💚

A huge thank you to the volunteers who have been helping bring back our backyard garden this summer and fall. And thank you to all the gardeners who generously dropped off plants!

After being closed to changing space needs, Hope House's backyard is once again becoming a peaceful, restorative space for those staying here.

Connection is key!

For young people, housing insecurity often comes with disconnection and feelings of isolation. That's why our amazing partners are key to the Shining Stars Program - providing workshops, field trips and connections to caring adults and supportive spaces.

Thank you to Milwaukee County Parks, Milwaukee Recreation, Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, Beginning Dreams Forever LLC and all those who have provided amazing outings and partnership this summer and school year!

Who's ready for kick off? We're excited to share Hope House of Milwaukee has received a grant from the Green Bay Packers Foundation! Their generous support will help families facing homelessness access shelter, housing, services and ultimately stability through our Family Bonds Program.
