To all of our followers, we encourage you to like and follow the new page for Camp Angelus. For those unaware, we hold our annual summer outing on these amazing grounds each July.

"Camp Angelus offers a range of options for Catholic individuals, families, and groups seeking a refuge from the busyness of life in an idyllic setting.

Our campground, offering over 100 acres situated on the majestic banks of the Chippewa River, has been home to Catholic settlements in one form or another since 1853. We seek to offer a refuge for those looking to re-center themselves around Christ and our Blessed Mother through nature, free from the distractions and comforts of daily life."

Each year, a group of senior cadets and their fathers go on a four-day excursion in early June - a capstone event of the season, if you will. This year 35 souls travelled eleven hours to the Badlands in South Dakota. It was an incredible time where we explored...

Our troop, along with Troops of Saint George # 303, Fond du Lac - St. Michael the Archangel, had the distinct privilege of serving and leading pilgrims on a 4+ mile trek along the hills of Erin, Wisconsin for the Feast of Corpus Christi.

This pilgrimage, sponsored by St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) began with a Mass; followed by a beautiful hike along the hillside; and culminated in a spiritual talk and Benediction Holy Hill. Afterwards, we all enjoyed a picnic and community.

Holy Name of Mary - Troop 1683 recently completed our first camp-out of the season, hosting 80 fathers and sons in the beautiful forest of Kettle Moraine State Park. We...

✅ sang patriotic and spiritual songs around the campfire.
✅ witnessed a beautiful Field Mass as the sun began to rise.
✅ put our chaplain to work, chopping wood for our campfire.
✅ hiked together witnessing God's majestic beauty.
✅ swore in our new cadet officers.
✅ had our first "running of the bulls."

In just a few short weeks we will traverse to our next destination.

The name of Troop 1683 is "Holy Name of Mary" - a means to commend ourselves to the care of our Blessed Mother. On this Feast Day of Mary Most Holy, The Assumption, may we all call out to Mary asking for a holy and happy death through her intercession.
