Shana tova to our NextGen MKE family 🤍🍎🍯

This is what 300 young Jewish leaders in one room looks like. 🙌

The National Young Leadership Cabinet retreat brought leaders from Federations across North America together — and Milwaukee had two in the room: Adam Witkov (second year) and Ariana Rasansky (first year).

Cabinet is five-year premier leadership program for high-level young Jewish leaders. Over retreat, participants heard from Mark Wilf — Vikings owner, JFNA leader, and a Cabinet alum himself — and from Jacob Frey, Mayor of Minneapolis, as well as many more incredible speakers. They learned from professionals and lay leaders, connected with communities big and small, and left with a sharper sense of why this work matters.

That's the thing about a room like this: it reminds you that our community stretches across the country and around the world, and that showing up is the whole point.

MKE is blessed to have leaders like Adam and Ariana representing us on the national level. 💙

The time is now, it’s our turn. We're here — building community, leading with purpose, and shaping the future of Jewish Milwaukee. 💙 NextGen MKE is where Jewish adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s connect, learn, give back, and make their mark. Whether you're a longtime member or just hearing about us for the first time, you belong here!

What better way to celebrate Milwaukee’s Jewish young leaders than one big soirée in their honor? 🥳

Our inaugural NextGen Young Leadership Celebration was a beautiful evening recognizing our Weinstein Fellows, Ann Agulnick Young Leadership Award recipient, and Benjamin and John Nickoll Young Leadership Award honorees.

The room was filled with nachas as emerging and seasoned leaders, family and friends, alumni, and supporters came together to celebrate these remarkable individuals and the impact they’re making in our community. Mazel Tov to this year’s honorees. ✨🏆🤝

We will miss our incredible community shlicha, Noa, and her lovely family. Thanks for three meaningful years.

Join the Milwaukee Jewish Federation on June 14 as we celebrate Noa and her family's impact on Milwaukee and wish them well as they begin their journey home to Israel.

RSVP here: bit.ly/NoaFarewell

After three unforgettable years, it's time to say l'hitraot to our community shlicha, Noa, and her family.

Noa, Liran, Rona, and Lihi have become an important part of Milwaukee's Jewish community. Arriving shortly before October 7, they helped guide us through one of the most difficult periods in recent Jewish history, offering perspective, comfort, strength, and a meaningful connection to Israel when we needed it most.

They also brought warmth, joy, resilience, and friendship that strengthened our community and touched countless lives.

Join us on June 14 as we celebrate Noa and her family's impact on Milwaukee and wish them well as they begin their journey home to Israel.
