At the Antetokounmpo Academy, we believe leadership extends far beyond the court. This summer, our Milwaukee athletes stepped into the community to serve, learn and experience what it means to show up for others.

Through service-learning experiences across Milwaukee, they put one of the Academy’s core pillars into action: using their time, talents and voices to make a difference.

Because developing great athletes matters — but eveloping young people who understand the impact they can have on the world around them matters even more.

This is Antetokounmpo Academy Milwaukee. 🏀💙

100 young athletes. Three weeks. And a whole lot bigger than basketball.

The Academy is built around a simple idea: sport can open doors.

Doors to mentorship. To new experiences. To serving your community. To building confidence, finding your voice and discovering what you’re capable of.

This summer in Milwaukee, we watched that idea come to life — on the court, in the classroom and across the city.

That’s what Antetokounmpo Academy is all about: using the game we love to help fuel opportunity far beyond it.

We’re still buzzing from this summer — and couldn’t be prouder of the 100 athletes who made it so special.

Thank you to and Foundation for believing in the vision and helping make the 2026 Milwaukee Academy possible.

Year 2 of CAFF Work powered by Viohalco is complete. 💙

This year, seven young people graduated with something far more valuable than a certificate: a real opportunity to secure a position in the Greek labour market and, along with it, a sense of stability and hope. Graduates from the programme are already building careers in Greek industry.

As one of our graduates, shared:

“I learned to work safely, to stay alert, to work as a team.”

And when asked what his first job means to him, he added:

“It means a great deal. I am very proud of myself that I am working and continuing to learn.”

One final week. One unforgettable summer. ❤️🏀

We wrapped up the final week of the Antetokounmpo Academy in Milwaukee with full hearts and plenty of memories.

Our athletes continued to put in the work on the court, grew through life skills sessions in the classroom, cheered on the Milwaukee Brewers, and spent time giving back by volunteering at the new Bernie's Book Bank in Milwaukee.

Because basketball is the starting point, but the goal has always been much bigger…

Week after week this summer, we’ve watched these young people grow—not just as athletes, but as teammates, leaders, and members of their community.

We’re so proud of this incredible group and grateful for the energy, effort, and heart they brought to the Academy every single day.

To our funders, our supporters, our coaches and athletes — thanks for spending this summer with us. 💙

Antetokounmpo Academy is now a journal for kids 10 -17 years old that is easy for them to read, inspired by the lessons we’ve learned through the Antetokounmpo Academy.

It covers 10 topics that matter: showing up, building your team, learning from failure, believing in yourself, and chasing your dreams.

We hope it inspires you to write your own story.
The book is in all the book stores in Greece.

We wrapped up the 7th season of the Antetokounmpo Academy in Greece the best way we know how—celebrating an incredible group of young people and everything they accomplished together. 💙🏀

It was especially meaningful to have Giannis and Thanasis join us to celebrate our athletes and the journey they’ve been on this season.

This season, our athletes showed up with commitment, curiosity, and heart. They sharpened their skills on the court, built lasting friendships, explored future career paths, gave back through community service, and continued growing into confident young leaders.

And the impact speaks for itself: 97% of girls said their confidence increased through the Academy, while 80% of boys said the program strengthened their teamwork skills and inspired them to become better people.

Basketball is the starting point, but the goal has always been much bigger.

None of this happens alone. Impact is a team sport.

A heartfelt thank you to Evina Maltsi, her coaching staff, and Eurohoops for creating an environment where every athlete could grow. Thank you to Pierce and Deree at The American College of Greece for opening new doors through educational workshops, science labs, and career exploration.

Another week. More growth. More purpose. 💙

The Antetokounmpo Academy in Milwaukee continued to build momentum in Week 2.

Our athletes continued to sharpen their skills on the court while investing just as much time in building confidence, resilience, and leadership through life skills sessions, breathwork, and mindfulness.

One of the week’s highlights was partnering with The Ability Center to refurbish adaptive sports equipment alongside volunteers from DreamBikes Milwaukee and GE HealthCare. It was a powerful reminder that the game is at its best when everyone has the chance to play.

And because hard work deserves a little celebration, the week wrapped up with an unforgettable day at Six Flags—building memories and friendships that will last long after summer ends.

At CAFF, we believe sport is a vehicle for something bigger. Every drill, every conversation, and every act of service helps young people discover their potential and become leaders in their communities.

100 young people. One incredible first week.

The 2026 Antetokounmpo Academy Milwaukee is officially underway, and what a start it’s been. 🏀

This summer, 100 student-athletes—50 girls and 50 boys from across Milwaukee—are coming together to grow not only as athletes, but as leaders, teammates, and members of their community.

Week one was packed with high-energy basketball, life skills, mindfulness and breathwork, healthy competition, and new friendships. Off the court, athletes gave back through a community service project at Kinship Community Food Center, helping support families across Milwaukee and learning firsthand what it means to serve others.

At CAFF, we believe sport is just the beginning. Every practice, every conversation, every service project is another opportunity to build character, expand perspectives, and fuel futures.

We’re just getting started.💪

No one reaches their full potential alone.

Last week at SNF Nostos, Giannis joined Andreas Dracopoulos (SNF) and Emmanouil Karalis for a thoughtful conversation about the people, values, and support systems that shape who we become.

From family and friendship to discipline, perseverance, and purpose, one idea remained at the center of the conversation: none of us reaches our full potential on our own.

That belief is deeply personal to the Antetokounmpo family—and it’s what inspires the work of CAFF every day.

We know firsthand how the right support system, at the right time, can change the trajectory of a life.

That’s why we’re committed to creating opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and discover what’s possible for themselves.
