Neighbors are invited to join us tomorrow night at The Tap Yard at Schlitz Park for a casual night of trivia, drinks, and socializing by the river. Whether you're full of useless knowledge or just looking for an excuse to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather, everyone's welcome to join in!

The Historic Brewers Hill Association is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Akuwa Dantzler. For years, we worked closely with her in her capacity as Legislative Assistant to Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs, and we were always moved by her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to the residents of the 6th District.

Her work, woven into the fabric of initiatives like Bronzeville Week has left an indelible mark on our community. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss and extend our most sincere condolences to Alderwoman Coggs, the entire 6th District office staff, and all who were blessed to call her family and friend. Her legacy of service will live on in the neighborhoods she helped strengthen. 🦋

Your friendly neighborhood clean up club organizer with a request🌱

Now that all the snow has melted the debris and litter that has accumulated over the past few months and was hidden is now revealed🔍 If you are a clean up club member, have litter pickers, or just have a few spare moments over the next couple of days please consider getting outside around your home and your block and help pick up some of the waste before it gets covered by snowfall again🚮

Many thanks for helping to keep Brewers Hill beautiful! Also, our next BIG neighborhood wide Earth Day clean up isn't until mid April, so we appreciate your help until then :) We are so grateful for you!

Join us for our Winter Meeting & Annual Holiday Gathering

When: Tuesday, December 9th | 6-8pm
Where: Avli, 1818 N Hubbard St

Join us as we close out and celebrate the 2025 HBHA year. We'll have light appetizers along with voting and election results for President, Secretary, and Auxiliary Positions. This year's gathering will be a holiday party with festive attire encouraged and plenty of time for mingling and cheer!

The city has just announced that the city wide trick or treating is also on Friday, Oct 31st from 5:30-7:3pm.

This year Brewers Hill-O-Ween & Alley-ween will be held on Friday, October 31st from 6-10pm. It is free to participate and all ages are welcome! Be sure to RSVP if you plan to attend!

Brewers Hill-O-Ween
Trick or Treat for all from 6:00pm-7:45pm
Please be sure to RSVP whether you are passing out candy, passing out adult treats, or trick or treating! We will create and share a map of all participating houses as the event draws near.
All participating houses will be marked.

Alley-Ween
After you finish trick or treating join us in the Brown Street Alley from 8:00pm-10:00pm for the infamous Alley-Ween after party! Bring all your leftover treats and beverages to the alley to share and make sure you dress to impress.
All ages costume parade is at 8:15pm
