Est. in 1978 as a leading educational & funding resource in support of burn safety, burn care and The Arthur C Luf Childrens Burn Camp.

Our Mission is to provide hope and emotional support to burn survivors and their families, and to increase collaboration with burn center personnel toward that end, and to foster burn-prevention education. To provide for the Arthur C. Luf Burn Camp, to develop a safe space for mental and emotional growth for the children. Our Vision is to become an enduring source of such support for future generations. It's time to "Fall Back" an hour, which means it's also time to check and test your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors!

1. If your alarm/s have alkaline batteries, replace them with new ones.

2. If you have sealed-unit alarm/s, check the expiration date - if that date has passed, replace the whole unit.

3. If you have hardwired alarm/s, test them! Hardwired units may also also need their backup batteries swapped out.

The American Red Cross recommends testing smoke alarms once a month and replacing alarms that are 10 years old or older.
