The girls are raising money for both their trip to Washington DC in July and their Silver Awards!

We will be stationed right at the end of the green- so enjoy pirates day and get your car clean at the same time!

And double bonus- we are accepting credit cards!!!

Happy Earth Day! Over 60 Girl Scouts descended on the Milford Community Gardens to learn that bees are pollinators and not pests! Thanks to Bill the beekeeper for sharing his bee knowledge and his delicious honey. The scouts each made a bee and then flew their bees into the “Cheetos pollen” then flew to the “flower garden” to see how bees act as pollinators.

Of course real bees need plants to gather their pollen so the scouts helped plant flowers at the gardens and made a seed bomb they can plant at their home. They even got to participate in a unplanned activity - weeding a garden!

Thank you Linda for welcoming our scouts to the gardens and thanks to all our older scouts for helping run the activities.
