The Milford United Way received a beautiful gift today from ST. MARY-ST. MICHAEL SCHOOL, DERBY, CT in Derby. The school's garage contained thousands of yellow rubber ducks that they no longer needed -- so they donated them to us for our MUW Duck Race for next year. WOW! The ducks were in pristine condition and we will use them to replace our 'old timer' ducks next spring. Thanks also to Mary D'Amato Brothers Builders, and Justin DeCrosta who helped move the flock to their new home! Thank you, St. Mary-St. Michael School for this blessing!!

Even though winter is still several weeks away, we are already seeing the number of requests soar for heating assistance and fuel oil costs. You can help keep our neighbors and friends safe and warm by attending the 13th Annual Holiday Benefit (Dec. 19th) for Keeping Milford Warm. This organization does amazing work -- and could use your support. Here's the link for the event; reserve your spot today! Thank you! https://www.keepingmilfordwarm.com/photo-gallery

It was our pleasure today to present the The Boys & Girls Club of Milford, CT with a check for $5,000 to help them in their support of local youth programming. Funds for the gift were made possible from the MUW's Annual Golf Tournament, held in late August. Thank you -- to our sponsors, our golfers, and our volunteers for making this happen!
