From the Milford 250 America Celebration Parade! We handed out little compasses with troop 721 tags with QR codes linked straight to our website! It's been a long time since we've been in a parade and it was fun! Hope we get another opportunity to do another one soon!

We had a BIG night during this weeks meeting! We had another sign off palooza. We finished off a couple tenderfoot fitness, flag folding, and flag raising. AND we had a board of review for Emmett for a Tenderfoot rank! And congratulations because he's now a Tenderfoot scout and now can work towards second class! He's off to New Orleans tomorrow, so it was his last meeting. We had a little celebration for him. Congratulations Emmett , Troop 721 will miss you! We hope you and your family have fun in Mississippi!

We have the Court of Honor next week with even MORE ranks to give out!

Today we also volunteered for the Milford Elks Lodge 1589 Flag Day ceremony on the Milford Green. It was nice and breezy rather than this mornings can and bottle drive. We all showed up nice and sharp in our Class A uniforms and showed off all of the nations various flags. We enjoyed a nice speech from Mayor Smith. And then we played on the green alittle afterwards!

It was a busy one to say the least!! We started out with AT LEAST a full bin of glass. We had a bunch of scouts during the mid shift and it was definitely needed! It was hot and muggy and thankfully everyone brought a water bottle. Time to cool off for an hour and head to the Elks Flag Day Ceremony on the Milford Green!

Not many pictures tonight. But tonight was all about individual advancement! Everyone got at least a couple sign offs tonight and a couple scouts got enough sign offs for a rank up to Scout! Congrats Joseph and Greyson! Lots of rank advancements in the next couple of weeks!

Don't forget the can and bottle drive on Sunday!!
