NVCWDA has a location problem. We need to find a new, or some new, locations for holding our dances. We could use your help in finding such places.
Our 1/17 dance in Sterling is definitely scheduled.
Our 2/7 dance will most likely be at Lincolnia and there will be no charge to dance that night.
We're hoping to use the time from now until then to find other suitable locations.
As you can imagine, we won't last long if we have no income to cover our expenses, which is what Fairfax County expects us to do.

We are asking for your help. If you know of any space that would be in the neighborhood of 3000 square feet, with a reasonable dance surface, PLEASE contact us. If you have personal knowledge of the space and contact information, that would be great. The best way to contact is to email [email protected] and your information will be passed along.

We are a non-profit organization. We can pay rent, but have to consider if we have enough attendance to cover expenses.

Remember to put Saturday's Anniversary Dance on your calendar. Admission is ONLY $5 for everyone! We start at 6pm with warmup music. We'll celebrate some of the old favorites as well as dance the newer ones we have learned. If you have ever danced with this group, come on out and meet some people that maybe you haven't seen in a while. If you haven't danced with us, it's a great time to start.

I have been asked to teach at a country western event on Wednesday, Aug. 14. The crowd is likely to be large, so they would like me to bring some dancers who could assist the people with the dancing. It's from 6-10 at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington.. Kevin Handy will be the DJ. Dinner will be provided ( and the menu is pretty impressive,).
If you think you might be interested, please message me I am looking for somewhat experienced dancers, even though we will be doing mostly easy stuff.
