The Merrifield Lions Club, Inc., serves the community of Merrifield, Virginia and neighboring parts of Falls Church, Fairfax, Vienna, and Annandale, Virginia. Since 1965, the club has helped the visually disabled by providing eye exams and buying eyeglass

es for individuals who need financial assistance. The club aids the hearing impaired by providing hearing exams and by helping to buy hearing aids for people who need financial help. We also collect eyeglasses for the Lions International recycling effort

From Merrifield Lions Club:

This Wednesday, May 1, our 7:00PM meeting at Merrifield Community Hall, 8104 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA we will present a guest speaker, Tom Reinert, the President of DarkSky International.

DarkSky International is a group of over 2000 advocates working with community groups to preserve the nighttime sky and slow the effects of light pollution.

We are honored to have Tom visit us as he lives in Northern Virginia. Dinner is served so please let us know if you are coming.
