SUN Volunteers among the First to Respond in The Philippines.

Volunteers from SUN Charity were among the first to reach the disaster stricken city of Tacloban in the Philippines. Our forward teams made a thirty-six hour journey to reach the ravaged areas. As they travelled by plane and boat they were also witnesses to the destruction left in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan.

The team brought in much needed aid to Tacloban and other areas and is also helping in the clean-up efforts.

SUN is sending back-up teams to join the first responders.

City of Kemp in Texas is out of water,and... patience too. Sun Charity USA's Dallas Chapter accepts the challenge. Mayor of Kemp has authorized Sun Charity to meet the needs of people until the water is restored two days from now. Huge consignment of water is being delivered via trucks to the city of Kemp tomorrow afternoon. Our volunteers in Dallas are gearing up for yet another long, tough journey.
