The World Cataract Foundation provides humanitarian services helping the world to see by eliminating cataract blindness through surgery, training and equipping. People from all over the world are involved in World Cataract Foundation missions to restore sight. It is incredible to make eye contact with a child or adult who can look back at you for the first time in years. We are so thankful for our

We are proud to join in recognizing Dr. Fleming for his outstanding service. For 14 years on the World Cataract Foundation Board, he has shared his expertise, guided with thoughtful leadership, and helped expand access to sight-restoring care for those who need it most. Thank you, Dr. Fleming, for the lasting difference you continue to make.

The inaugural cohort elected to our Memphis Medical Society Hall of Fame represent the deep talent and passion at the heart of the Memphis medical community. As we approach our 150th Anniversary Gala this coming Saturday, we will celebrate the iconic physicians that were nominated and elected by their peers this year.
