A novel pill helped people with advanced pancreatic cancer live longer, researchers reported Sunday, raising hopes of long-needed better treatments for one of the deadliest types of cancer.

โ€œWhile not curing the cancer, it is a very large step forward,โ€ said Dr. Zev Wainberg, of the University of California, Los Angeles, who helped lead the study.

The drug is called daraxonrasib and it blocks a mutated protein that fuels tumor growth in more than 90% of pancreatic cancer cases โ€” a target that had eluded treatment for decades.

Bright, simple, and easy on the body ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฅญ

This banana mango blend is a light summer favorite, especially helpful for those navigating pancreatic cancer and needing soft, easy-to-digest foods. Itโ€™s smooth, refreshing, and made with gentle ingredients that can feel more manageable on days when appetite is low.

A simple way to stay cool, get something nourishing in, and still enjoy a little sweetness during treatment or recovery ๐Ÿ’›

Saturday highlights from the 2026 Kosten Foundation Kick It Pickleball Tournament ๐ŸŽพ๐Ÿ’œ

These photos capture just a few moments from an incredible day at Suggs Park as players, sponsors, volunteers, survivors, supporters, and families came together in support of pancreatic cancer research and support initiatives.

The 2026 tournament weekend also marked another major milestone for the Kosten Foundation, which has now contributed more than $3.5 million toward pancreatic cancer research since its founding.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this yearโ€™s event possible, including presenting sponsor Baptist Memorial Health Care and the many community partners and supporters who continue to stand with us in the fight against pancreatic cancer. ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ’œ
