The Youth Villages YV5K helps fund our mentor program, but it’s moments like these that truly show its impact. Having runspirations like Jennifer running alongside our kids, on campus and at the race, reminds us how powerful simply showing up can be. The kids laugh, smile, and push through the miles, fueled by our coaches, Jennifer, and our mentors encouragement.

When Jennifer Hoffrage first started running, it wasn’t love at first stride. But today, her passion for running is helping youth find confidence, connection and community through our Runners Club. From donating race shirts to volunteering at weekly runs and monthly 5Ks, she proves that even small steps can make a big impact.

Her advice?

“Even if you can’t help every week, just being able to come out and help once in a while, you can still make a difference.”
