Please join us in welcoming our newest board member, Heather Koury, Hon. AIA, LEED Green Associate, a Senior Associate and Director of Strategic Alignment at archimania, a Memphis-based architecture and design firm. In this role, she leads initial-phase project strategies intended to elevate design services while strengthening community impact, connectivity, and long-term project value. With 30+years of professional and civic engagement, she is engaged with the community in the areas of architecture, the arts, professional advocacy, education, community development, and environmental stewardship. Before joining archimania, Heather served as Executive Director of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Memphis. Her prior national service has included the Board of Directors and Strategic Council of The American Institute of Architects and President of the Council of Architectural Component Executives. Locally, she serves on the Board of Trustees for Dixon Gallery and Gardens, and as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the West Tennessee Chapter: Tennessee Urban Forestry Council. She is an active volunteer with Madonna Learning Center, Memphis Parks and, now, Intunity.
