We are so proud to receive one of the Nonprofit Capacity Building grants from the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis! This grant will allow us to continue building neighborhood capacity and relationships to create change.

We are thrilled to announce $375,530 in Nonprofit Capacity Building grants to 26 outstanding local nonprofits! Thirty percent of funded agencies are led by executive directors/CEOs of color. These grants, awarded from the FOREVER Funds at the Community Foundation, will help the organizations become more efficient and effective in their operations—helping them fulfill their missions and serve this community.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. During the last quarter-century, the MLK Day of Service has grown, and its impact increased as more Americans embraced the idea that citizenship involves taking an active role in improving communities.

We are proud to serve our community not just today, but every day.

Join us for a day of service!

This coming Monday, January 15th, from 1PM-3PM at Humes Middle School as we team up with Starbucks, City Year, Whole Child Strategies, and more. This event will help us spread some joy to the community with a free giveaway of food, toiletries, clothing, and household essentials.

In 2023, we had 333 riders in our Residents on the Move program. We are so honored to have a strategic partnership with MATA to bring assistance to those in Klondike and Smokey City. Since the beginning of our Residents on the Move program, in May 2021, we've be able to help over 6,000 riders.
