Right now, more than 1,500 Choose901 Alumni are in college, putting in the work and chasing big dreams. But tuition keeps climbing, and scholarships are harder to find.

That's where you come in. Whether you're a company, a church, or one person who wants to make a difference, City Leadership can help you start or manage a scholarship for Memphis students, and we'll keep you updated on their journey along the way.

Please help us welcome Carmen Monet to the team! 🎉 Carmen is our new Social Media Coordinator. A Memphis native and UofM journalism grad, she's spent years telling stories with publications and on her own platforms. Now she's bringing that storyteller's eye to capturing the beauty of the 901. 📸

10/02/2026

The Choose901 merch store is open! 🛍️ Back by popular demand. Here's what's in:

📮 The Post Card Tee, inspired by real 1940s and '50s postcards of people writing home about how much they loved Memphis. Only a few left.
⚡ The 901 Lightning Bolt Trucker Hat is back.
🏙️ The Memphis Tenn Tee now comes in new colorways.

Every purchase fuels the mission, supporting teachers, connecting volunteers, and growing future leaders across Memphis. And every time you wear the 901, you're sending a postcard of your own.

The store is only open for about a week, so don't wait. Click the link to shop now ➡️ https://bit.ly/4ysNTzF

Our own Bree Wilson was just named one of the Greater Memphis Chamber's 2026 NextGen Award winners 🎉 Bree moved here from Philly in 2014 to teach with Teach For America. That two-year commitment turned into more than a decade in Memphis classrooms, and now she leads Teach901, recruiting and supporting the teachers for the 901. She's one of ten honorees under 40 shaping Memphis across banking, logistics, real estate, education, and more. Congrats to the whole cohort 👏
