We are grateful to learn that the two Colorado State Patrol Troopers wounded today in Teller County are expected to recover from their physical injuries.

Our thoughts and prayers remain firmly with both Troopers, their families, and their fellow members of the Colorado State Patrol as they begin the process of healing from this tragic incident.

The Association also extends our sincere appreciation to the Teller County Sheriff’s Office and its deputies for their prompt response and assistance to the wounded Troopers. Their immediate actions and willingness to stand alongside our Troopers during a moment of crisis are a powerful reminder of the strength of the law enforcement community and the partnerships that exist between agencies across Colorado.
