Today was day two of our Fall Rebuilding Days, and we got to spend it with the SKILLED & FUN folks from Swinerton! They had some BIG tasks to complete for Mr. Rick (aka Squid), an Army veteran who has lived in his mobile home for over 20 years.
In less than six hours, they rebuilt both his front & rear stairs, installed a new countertop with sinks and faucets in his bathroom, repaired his wooden gate, and finally removed carpeting & installed LVP flooring in his living room and entry way.
We are so grateful for our long and outstanding partnership with Swinerton, and always look forward to working with them!
It was a very good day!

Happy Friday from Federal Heights! Today we’re excited to be partnering, for the first time, with Millstone Weber….these folks are skilled & showed up ready to WORK!
Ms. Elsie is so happy with all the repairs and accessibility modifications being made to her home today!
Huge thanks to Rebuilding Together-St. Louis for connecting us with their longtime partner, Millstone Weber! We hope this is the beginning of a beautiful partnership!

For Grace, home is where generations connect. She has lived in her home for more than 20
years, sharing it with her grandson.
In recent years, home no longer provided the safety or comfort she needed. With a broken window, no handrails for mobility and electricity problems the issues were piling up and being on a fixed income, Grace felt repairs were out of reach.
Rebuilding Together stepped in to help with repairs, because instead of replacing homes,
we fix them — making them safer, more accessible, and easier to maintain for people like Grace.
Our country’s approach to affordable housing isn’t getting us anywhere. We can’t build our way out of it if we let the affordable homes we already have quietly disappear from our communities.
But for the same cost as building 1 new home, Rebuilding Together can fix 18.

Please join us in welcoming Marcus Harris to our Board of Directors. Marcus is a licensed realtor with over 24 years of experience in the Denver metro area. He has personally assisted his many clients with home rehab projects and has extensive resources, construction knowledge and contacts within the industry. For our older neighbors like Edward, keeping up with home repairs as you age can be challenging.
A combat veteran, Edward needed critical but simple repairs to his home to make it safer and more comfortable for everyday living.
With a team of volunteers, Rebuilding Together was able to restore water access to his bathroom, installed grab bars to reduce fall risk and installed a handrail at the entrance to his home.
Simple fixes like these make the home livable for Edward, and one more affordable home is preserved.

We have the BEST partners! Earlier this week, the team from CSAA Insurance Group showed up ready to WORK! In under four hours they had blown through the work scope then went above & beyond to make sure Ms. Cinda's home was safe & ready for the colder weather!

We are truly overwhelmed with gratitude for all those who came out last night in support of our 5th Annual Swing Fore Safe Housing event! While we are still running the numbers, we know it was extremely successful in terms of funds raised and friends made!
