S.C.A.R.S. S.C.A.R.S. is reapplying for a 501(c)3 non-profit status after having been dormant for a few years. They are left to live in a horrible state. Donate Now.

Over a million people are diagnosed with skin cancer every year. Many skin cancer Survivors are unable to afford the expensive series of reconstruction surgeries desired to return to a normal life. The surgery, in some cases, is traumatic, the recovery long, and the results devastating. Disfiguring scars or missing areas of the face or body are the result of more advanced cancers. Many people are suffering without insurance. Having your face disfigured can destroy your self-esteem, can lead to severe depression, causing a loss of employment or social interactions. Thankfully, there are organizations seeking a cure for the disease. At this time however, S.C.A.R.S. is the ONLY national organization focusing on treatment for UNINSURED SURVIVORS OR SURVIVORS WHOSE INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER RECONSTRUCTION. If you contribute to any organization that fights cancer, THANK YOU! But our mission is different, and we need your help!.
