Did you know the official Juneteenth colors are red, white, and blue? These colors symbolize freedom, citizenship, and the enduring legacy of African Americans in the United States.

A Juneteenth display board featuring these colors was generously donated by Brent Thompson for educational and public viewing. Stop by the Black Heritage Gallery to see it on display and learn more about the significance of Juneteenth.

Proud moment for our culture and community! The American Press featured an incredible article in their April 16, 2026 edition highlighting the powerful work of Kareem Griffen and the Black Heritage Gallery Exhibit.

This recognition shines a light on the creativity, history, and storytelling that continues to inspire and uplift. Kareem’s artistry reflects not only talent, but purpose—and it’s amazing to see it celebrated on this level.

Black History Month ✨

As we honor Black History Month, we celebrate the legacy, leadership, and service of individuals who continue to make a lasting impact in our communities. Today, we proudly recognize Claudia Williams, whose dedication to preserving Black culture, history, and unity exemplifies true servant leadership.

Through her work with cultural organizations, community boards, and civic engagement, her contributions help ensure that our stories are told, our heritage is preserved, and our future generations are inspired.

Black history is not only something we remember—it is something we live every day.
