On June 10th Louisiana Cattlemen’s Association President Lynn DeLoach, Executive Vice President Shae Simon, and Queen Charli Boudreaux enjoyed attending the Lafourche Parish Cattlemen’s Association meeting. The evening showcased the future of our industry, with youth exhibitors presenting their beef cattle projects and a group of young men demonstrating their cattle handling skills by catching and doctoring calves.

Members enjoyed a great meal and heard from several outstanding speakers, including Louisiana FFA State Reporter Anthony Plaisance and representatives from Gatlin Feeds. Lafourche Parish is doing incredible work to support agriculture and develop the next generation of cattle producers.

🗓️Be sure to mark your calendars for their upcoming Jr. Cattlemen Showmanship Clinic on September 13th and Fall Show on November 14th–15th. We look forward to seeing all the great things still to come from Lafourche Parish!

On June 12th and 13th, Louisiana Cattlemen's Association Queen Charli Boudreaux had the honor of attending the Tangipahoa Pro Rodeo, hosted by the Tangipahoa Cattlemen's Association.
This fantastic event featured two nights of exciting rodeo action, a crowd-favorite calf scramble and dad dance-off, a VIP experience with great food and hospitality, and live music from Thomas Cain and Kendall Shaffer.
Charli was joined by Tangipahoa Parish Queen Madison Whetstone for a fun-filled weekend that included riding in the barrel truck, handing out giveaways, and enjoying a front-row view of the barrel racing from inside the arena.

A special thank you to the Tangipahoa Cattlemen's Association and all the volunteers whose hard work made this event such a success. Your dedication to agriculture, community, and western heritage was on full display all weekend long! We are proud to celebrate events like these that bring people together while showcasing the spirit of the cattle industry.
