What a wonderful evening at the Fall Ball hosted at the Old Governor’s Mansion!

On October 22nd, Louisiana Cattlemen’s Association President Lynn DeLoach and his wife, Rose, attended the ball hosted by Dr. Mike Strain, Louisiana Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry, for an evening of great food, music, and fellowship.

We are grateful for opportunities like these to connect with others who share a passion for Louisiana agriculture and the people who make our industry so special! 🤍🐂

Today, we officially got Cattlemen’s Kitchen set up and held our quarterly board meeting! 🤠🥩

We can’t wait to welcome everyone starting Thursday! Whether you’re looking to enjoy some delicious local Louisiana beef, visit and socialize with friends, grab some LCA merch, cool off, or just take a break from the fair, Cattlemen’s Kitchen is the place to be!

A reminder that every meal and every visit helps support Louisiana’s cattle industry and the next generation of youth in agriculture. We’re proud to serve our community while investing in the future of Louisiana agriculture!

🐮 On Tuesday, October 20, LCA Queen Charli Boudreaux, Executive Vice President Shae Simon, and Treasurer Jarett Daigle traveled to East Feliciana Parish for their cattlemen’s meeting!

The evening included a great meal, presentations from the state-winning and nationally competing Junior Cattlemen’s Working Team, updates from junior exhibitors, new business, and insight from a local producer.

It was amazing to see so many exhibitors and young people involved! Investing in and encouraging our youth is key to keeping Louisiana’s cattle industry growing! 🤠
