🎯💥 THE S***T SHOOT IS OFFICIALLY IN THE BOOKS… AND WE HAVE QUESTIONS. 😂
First and foremost: No, we are NOT releasing statistics on how many clays were actually hit versus how many were aggressively shot at. Some things are better left between you, your sh***un, and the Lord. 😇😂
What we DO know is that the guns were loud, the weather cooperated, the jambalaya disappeared, and a whole lot of people suddenly became Olympic-level shooting coaches while standing safely behind the shooters. 🤣
But seriously, this event wouldn’t have happened without some amazing people and businesses:

🏆 Etch 8:31 — Thank you for the awesome trophies! Because apparently simply telling everyone, “Trust me, I shot really good,” isn’t enough. You need PROOF. 😂
💪 SLIC — Y’all came to set up a table and somehow ended up volunteering to pull s***t throwers. 😂 Pretty sure that wasn’t in the original job description. It was a FIRST for them, and they jumped right in like absolute champs. We appreciate you!
🏰 Millers Inflatables — Thank you for the bounce house, otherwise known as the place we deposited the children while the adults played with sh***uns. 😂 The kids had a BLAST!
🍲 Dominic & Tina Dugas — Let’s discuss the REAL reason at least 42% of you showed up: THE JAMBALAYA. 😂 Thank you for cooking, preparing, and feeding our army of hungry shooters. There is nothing quite like missing 14 clays in a row and then comforting yourself with a plate of jambalaya. That’s called healing. 🤣
And to all of our shooters…

Some of y’all discovered talents you didn’t know you had.
Some of y’all discovered talents you definitely do not have. 😂
And some of those s***t are probably still flying over Welsh as we speak.
But EVERYBODY had fun, and that’s exactly what this day was about.
A huge THANK YOU to every shooter, volunteer, sponsor, donor, family member, kid, spectator, unofficial shooting coach, professional trash-talker, jambalaya enthusiast, and person who yelled “PULL!” with entirely too much confidence. 😂
At the end of the day, this wasn’t really about who shot the best — although we’re sure the trophy winners would strongly disagree. 🏆😂
It was about getting our Veterans and their families together, building camaraderie, supporting one another, laughing entirely too much, and reminding our Veterans that they have a community standing behind them.
And THAT is why we do what we do. 🇺🇸❤️
