Gender dysphoria is real, and children experiencing it deserve compassionate, evidence-based care—not a rush to affirmation, hormones, or surgery before their brains and bodies have even finished developing. The Ruth Institute stands for real treatment: therapy that addresses the whole child and gives kids the space to grow into who they are without irreversible interventions imposed during a developmental phase.

Every child deserves the chance to grow up in their own body.

Back in 2012, radical writer Masha Gessen (now identifying as non-binary) told an audience in Sydney that fighting for gay marriage involved lying about what would actually happen to the institution of marriage once it was redefined. Her own words: it was "a no-brainer that the institution of marriage should not exist."

She didn't stop there — she argued for legal recognition of families with five parents.

This wasn't a fringe slip-up. It was a preview. The campaign to redefine marriage was never "conservative" — and Gessen's own trajectory proves it. Read the full story from our archives 👇

We think a lot about what we put into our bodies. We consider whether our diet is nourishing, balanced, and good for us.

What about the diet of our minds and hearts?

Not everything that is available to us is good for us. What are we consuming through the things we watch, the conversations we engage in, the voices we listen to, and the thoughts we allow to take root?

So today, take a look at your heart’s diet. Are you feeding your soul things that bring you closer to God, or things that leave you anxious, angry, discouraged, or spiritually depleted?

Be intentional about what you consume. Your mind and soul need nourishment, too.

You’ve heard that “conversion therapy” is dangerous, never works, and should be banned.

But what if the studies behind those claims made three basic mistakes?

In this video, Jennifer Roback Morse explains the overlooked data problems behind some of the most common claims about conversion therapy, sexual orientation change efforts, su***de risk, and therapy bans.

Using research from Fr. Paul Sullins and others, she asks three questions every serious person should ask before accepting the sweeping claim that change-allowing talk therapy is so dangerous it should be outlawed.

Watch it here:

Same-sex parenting isn't the same as mom-and-dad parenting. No matter how loving the home, two moms or two dads cannot give a child what a mother and a father together provide. And children deserve a mother and father.
