It was our privilege to attend the Rotary Club of Lake Charles's annual banquet, where we celebrated the limitless potential of students like Kellie Meno, a junior criminal justice major from Jennings.

As one of nine exceptional students awarded the Rotary Club of Lake Charles Scholarship, established through the McNeese Foundation, Kellie expressed her gratitude for the Rotary Club's vital support on her path to achieving her college degree.

With a bright future unfolding before her, Kellie's accomplishments shine as a testament to the power of investment in higher education.

Since its inception in 1992, this scholarship has blossomed into the largest of its kind by a civic organization, underscoring the profound impact of the Rotary Club's commitment to empowering McNeese students.

Jennifer Leger, Rotarian and McNeese Foundation Director of Operations, was instrumental in bringing Kellie as a special guest, highlighting the genuine pride we share in Kellie and all our scholarship recipients🌟🌟🌟

We are deeply saddened to hear of Dr. John Noble’s passing. His compassion, dedication, and impact on so many lives will never be forgotten. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Dr. Noble.

Today, we have learned of the passing of Dr. John Noble, a longtime advocate for McNeese State University and a member of the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors representing the Lake Charles area. His leadership, knowledge and advocacy will be deeply missed at McNeese and across Southwest Louisiana.
