Less than a week left to get registered for the fall semester! Orchesta is one of the most affordable ways to learn how to play an instrument or increase the benefits of your child's private lessons. Playing with an ensemble is a unique experience.
One hour classes twice a week costs less than $9 a class. We think that's something to get excited about!

🎻 From Handel to Hot Cross Buns! 🎻

After 10 years, we’re thrilled to welcome back a familiar face to our Beginning Strings class!

For roughly the past decade, Kathleen Brooks has been inspiring and mentoring our orchestra’s students as the FGBYO Master Teacher. She has been working with our more advanced students, helping them grow as musicians and preparing them for the next stages of their musical journeys. While she will still work with the symphonic orchestra, she is now also returning to where so many musical journeys begin—Beginning Strings!

It’s a wonderful full-circle moment to see a teacher who has invested so much in our older, more experienced musicians now sharing that same passion and expertise with students picking up their instruments for the very first time. 🎶

We’re excited to have you back with our youngest musicians and can’t wait to see the confidence, curiosity, and love of music you’ll help foster in this next generation of string players! 🎻❤️✨

Everybody is familiar with the violin and the cello, but today we would like to showcase the viola!
🎻 Played by our very own Mrs. Sheila DeLong. We are incredibly blessed to have Mrs. Sheila in our classrooms.
🎻 She earned her Bachelor of Music in viola performance at West Texas A&M University and has been a member of several orchestras, including the Amarillo Symphony and the Symphony of Southeast Texas. She is playing a piece by Schubert, and we think both she and the song are pretty amazing!
