Tonight, Kansas City is helping us turn these blank 18th & Vine Arts Festival yard signs into one-of-a-kind pieces of community art that will be placed all across the city leading up to festival weekend.

🎨🌱 Creativity is growing at Y.A.I.! 🌱🎨

What an incredible day at our latest Youth Artists Initiative (Y.A.I.) class! Our young artists explored their creativity by designing and painting their own clay flower pots before planting seeds that they'll take home to nurture and watch grow.

This project was about more than making art—it was about imagination, responsibility, patience, and believing that with care and creativity, something beautiful can grow.

A huge thank you to our amazing instructor, Michelle M. Beasley, for leading another inspiring hands-on class and encouraging every student to express themselves through art.

We also want to extend a special thank you to ArtsTech for partnering with us to help provide meaningful arts education opportunities for youth in Kansas City. Your support helps us continue creating spaces where young people can learn, create, and grow.

We’re getting the yard signs ready now — painting, spray painting, testing ideas, and turning simple festival signs into something completely original.

Now we want Kansas City to help us finish the job.

Join us for Paint the Vine: Community Yard Sign Paint Party and help transform 100 festival yard signs into one-of-a-kind pieces of art that will be placed all across Kansas City leading up to the 2026 18th & Vine Arts Festival.

You do not have to be a professional artist. Come create, connect, have fun, and be part of the festival before festival weekend even begins.
