There has been much excitement, love, and energy that the I Exist Project has brought over the past year! We have premiered numerous q***r works on a multitude of performances across the country, and continue to present q***r narratives through new music, in-part with community support.

Every year, Fractured Atlas (who fiscally sponsors the project) holds a Spring Match campaign which every project who receives individual one-time donations of any amount between today and this Friday, April 19 at 11:59PM EST is automatically entered into the pool to receive a $1,000 donation from Fractured Atlas.

If you are able, a tax deductible donation through the link below would help ensure the future of the I Exist Project; and also give a chance at the drawing for extra funding which would help go towards recording projects, new commissions, collaborations, website maintenance, and so much more!

The I Exist Project’s mission is to celebrate, curate, and promote the creation and visibility of q***r music. To further the project’s goal of promoting young q***r composers and their music, we are excited to announce the Second Annual IEP Emerging Student Composer Award!

2 selected student composers will receive a prize of $300.00, plus multiple performances and recordings throughout the 2024/2025 season!

Applications are due November 15th, 2023.
