Pitstop Pit Bull Rescue Transport (501c3 non-profit) is a volunteer based org. Multiple Community Programs.

providing rescue support & transport of rescue/shelter animals on the east coast FL to NH! Pit Stop Pit Bull Rescue Transport was started in February of 2014 with one primary goal - Help Save Lives. After working as a volunteer for 5 years for other shelter and rescue groups we found it was time to venture out on our own to help fill some of the gaps we had seen. Since the recession in late 2008

shelters and rescues continue to struggle to make ends meet often having to make some very tough decisions. Our goal is to provide support services to the shelters and rescues of North Florida and South Georgia. These services not only include transport services from kill shelters to rescues located throughout the East Coast of the U.S, but also medical, boarding, and training sponsorships. In addition, we provide community service support to shelters to allow them to some of the nice to haves they are unable to attain due to limited funding. Our goal is to complete at least one community service project per year.

Pardon my yelling, but do you know how many gifted Easter bunnies are left neglected, starved, released into the neighborhood or woods once your Lil Johnny and Lil Becky get bored with them? One is one too many. It’s a horrible life for them. Don’t do it.

Opt for that cute stuffed grumpy bunny you see on your feed, a Chocolate Bunny ( I wear a size Peterbrooke Chocolate Bunny or Egg), or just give them extra hugs- they’ll love all of this much more.

Sara, Mary, Dee, Brian, our PAWESOME Road Warriors, and Overnight Puppy Patrol work around the clock to get these precious Souls to their Furever Home! Happy 6th Birthday to my handsome Valentine, Turbo (the brown & white heartthrob with his sister Sky) 💘🐶🎂

Six years of zoomies, snuggles, and stealing hearts everywhere he goes. He and all of Sunshine’s Puppies are officially in their “distinguished but still wild” era. 🥳🎉

Nothing says Valentine’s season like celebrating love… and loading up TWO transports in the same day! ❤️🚐🐾 Puppies, Doggos, and Kitties heading off to find their forever Valentines — be still my rescue heart!

Huge thank you to our amazing transport coordinators, monitors, overnighters, and volunteer drivers. You are the real Cupids of this organization — spreading love one mile at a time. 💌🐕

PLEASE bring your babies in, or make sure that they have something to keep them out of the elements.
If you see any dogs tethered outside and no way to keep warm, please contact your local authorities and Animal Control/Care Services.

We could still use small bags of dog and cat food to help the less fortunate at Breakfast In The Park on Christmas morning. 🐾🩷🐾

🎉 Almost 12 years of saving animals, making tails wag, and proving that chaos can be adorable! 🐾

Massive thanks to our volunteer squad—you deserve medals, coffee, and maybe a trophy shaped like a chew toy.

🚗 760,529 miles driven (yes, the van has feelings now)
🐶 5,997 animals helped find safety, love, and adventure
🏡 37 adoptions celebrated from our own group
🎁 10,000+ toys, treats, collars, and leashes distributed
🍲 65,000+ lbs of food delivered to keep pets fed and families together
💉 Spent thousands on medical care: spay/neuter, annual vetting, heartworm treatment, behavior assessments, and even bone reconstruction surgeries
💳 Microchipped 275 animals through our Chips N’ Pits program—helping pets find their way home
🏠 Completed 2 shelter makeovers, improving spaces for animals and staff

🌪 Deployed through Harvey, Florence, Michael, Laura, Ida, Idalia, and Milton—because pets don’t do “storm drama,” but humans sure do.

Every mile, meal, and snuggle is thanks to YOU, our unstoppable volunteer heroes. 💛

Here’s to nearly 12 years of messy, magical, tail-chasing joy! 🐾💖
