🗳️ Important information for Alimacani families:
The 1-mill referendum that provides continued funding for Duval County Public Schools will be on the ballot November 3, 2026.
This funding, first approved by voters in 2022, supports teacher and staff compensation as well as arts and athletics programs for students. Under state law, the funding must be renewed every four years.
Over the next several weeks, we’ll be sharing information to help our Alimacani families understand the referendum and what it means for our schools.
📌 Important Dates:
• Oct. 5 – Voter registration deadline
• Oct. 19–Nov. 1 – Early voting
• Nov. 3 – Election Day
