🍞 Help Us Keep the Bread Baking! 🇭🇹

As our trip comes to an end, Team Haiti wants to say THANK YOU to everyone who gave toward our bread baking ministry.

Because of you, we were able to bake fresh bread four times and share it with more than 250 people at our orphanage, boys’ and girls’ homes, elderly home—and yes, even those of us at the guest house enjoyed some! ❤️

But we don’t want the bread baking to stop when we leave.

Our goal is to bake every Saturday so our children and elderly can have fresh bread for breakfast before church on Sunday morning.

🍞 $270 provides everything for an entire month—four weeks of bread, supplies AND pays our local baker.

Maybe you can sponsor a whole month, or give $10, $25, $50—every gift helps keep the ovens going.

Today, nearly 500 children are walking into our school in Carries,Haiti ready to learn. ❤️🇭🇹

Getting an education here is not easy. Our teachers travel through difficult and sometimes dangerous conditions just to reach these children. Yet they continue to show up because they believe education can change Haiti.

Now we need your help to keep them there.

It costs approximately $6,000 each month to pay our teachers and staff. About $200 can help provide an education for one child for the entire year—but even $10 or $20 a month makes a difference.

These children are Haiti’s future—future teachers, doctors, bakers, business owners and leaders.

They are showing up. Their teachers are showing up. Will you show up for them?

Today is a very special day in Carries, Haiti. Our school is opening today.

Close to 500 children will be walking through those doors, ready to learn, ready to dream, and ready for a better future.

But we need your help.

Team Haiti helps support this school, and one of our biggest responsibilities is paying our teachers and staff. It costs about $6,000 every month to keep these teachers in the classrooms.

And I want you to understand what these teachers go through.

Some travel a long way just to get to our school. At times, the roads are dangerous. Roads can be blocked by gangs demanding money to pass. There are demonstrations and unrest that sometimes force our school to close because people simply cannot safely leave their homes.

But today, despite all of that, our school is opening.

These children are showing up.

Our teachers are showing up.

And now, we are asking you to show up with us.

For about $200, you can help provide an education for one child for an entire year. Maybe you can’t give $200. That’s okay. Give $10 a month. Give $20. Every gift helps us keep these teachers paid and these children in school.

Today, alongside Miss Lynne, the founder of Mission of Grace, we are making a plea:

Please help us keep this school open.

Education is one of the greatest ways we can help change the future of Haiti.

These children could become Haiti’s next teachers, doctors, business owners, bakers, leaders, mothers and fathers who will help rebuild their communities.

We don’t know what each child will become.

We just want to give them the opportunity to become it.

Help us educate these children. Help us empower them to finish their education and build a better future for Haiti.
