Okoa Refuge Become a part of a movement that is transforming communities and stabilizing families through love.

Okoa Refuge is a 501(C)(3) formed in 2008 that rescues Abandoned and Orphaned Children in Uganda Okoa, through holistic care and creating family. Okoa provides the children the opportunities to be a kid, normalcy and a chance to break the cycle of poverty.

When a child arrives, our team creates an individualized care plan that prioritizes their health, safety, and emotional well-being. 

From housing, meals, healthcare, and education to mentoring and daily care, every child receives the love and support they need to restore hope and dignity.

Join us in celebrating 650 new Okoa Bible School graduates!

What began with just 45 students in 2011 has grown into 139 Bible schools across 7 countries, equipping more than 3,151 church leaders to faithfully share the Gospel.

Each graduate represents another leader bringing hope, discipleship, and the love of Christ to their community.

This quarter, because of your support, we were able to:

Care for 91 children across our Rescue Center. Rescue 9 children from vulnerable situations. Support 65 children through Home-Based Disability Program. Reunite 4 children with loving relatives or guardians. Support 23 young adults through our Independent Living Program. Celebrate 5 youth being accepted to university as they take their next step toward independence
