This year, CANVASSED returns with a new collection of works inspired by some of the most influential and imaginative artists in history. Audiences will encounter the worlds of Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol, Andrew Wyeth, Gary Swisher, Edward Hopper, Edgar Degas, Salvador Dalí, Georgia O’Keeffe, Vincent van Gogh, and Chesley Bonestell; reimagined not simply as paintings, but as stories expressed through the human body.

Each piece will be uniquely choreographed by Heather Steele, Jenna Westall, Hannah Holguin, Cara Merkle, Johanna Miles, Karaline Focke, Cara Shanks, Melissa Kunkle, and Macey Westall, whose distinct artistic perspectives will translate these visual masterpieces into movement.

CANVASSED invites audiences to step beyond the frame-to see familiar works in an entirely new way and experience the intersection of visual art, dance, music, and storytelling.
