A collab worth hearing about ♬

ROCO has partnered with Houston Methodist’s Center for Performing Arts Medicine to bring ROCO on the Go to the hospital’s Main Campus, making hours of recorded music from Houston's Chamber Orchestra available 24/7 for patients, guests, and staff to enjoy.

Two mood-based playlists, Soothing and Joyful, were specially curated for the hospital environment, offering an accessible way to find music that fits the moment.

We partnered with ARLOOPA for Season 21's opening concert to give ROCO audiences the friendly company of virtual sea critters for the world premiere of Starr Parodi's Riptide, inspired by an adventure of a lifetime she experienced while scuba diving.

Today we're sending wishes for a fun and fantastic birthday, to ROCO flutist and piccoloist Rebecca Powell Garfield!! 🥳 We hope it's a great one! 🎂

In addition to playing with ROCO, Rebecca serves as principal flutist of the Austin Symphony Orchestra, performs with the Houston Grand Opera and Houston Ballet Orchestras, and maintains an active private teaching studio, plus volunteers her time with the Houston Flute Club.

Outside of playing with ROCO, Daniel performs with the Austin Symphony Orchestra as contrabassoonist/3rd bassoonist, in summer with the Texas Bach Festival and Victoria Bach Festival, and also teaches at Austin's Bocal Majority Bassoon Camp and Operation O.B.O.E.
