At Houston Impact Network, our advising approach is built on the Collective Impact model published in the Stanford Social Innovation Review. The research points to five conditions for lasting change:
✅ A common agenda
✅ Shared measurement
✅ Mutually reinforcing activities
✅ Continuous communication
✅ Backbone support
We serve as the backbone organization for church coalitions, facilitating the other four conditions so partners can focus on their mission.
And when collective impact is paired with relational strength, community transformation becomes possible.

Ministry is about people but strong, healthy ministries also require wise financial stewardship.

Through Houston Impact Network’s Leadership Cohorts, we create space for ministry leaders to ask questions, learn, and grow in areas that directly impact the health of their organizations, including finances.

By partnering with trusted banks and financial professionals in our community, we help connect ministry partners with people who can offer practical guidance, answer questions, and help them navigate financial stewardship with greater confidence.

That’s what Houston Impact Network is all about, bringing the right people together so ministries don’t have to do this work alone.

We love Houston because Houston is more than a city. It’s neighborhoods and churches. Families and businesses. Cultures, communities, and people from every walk of life, all woven together into something incredibly special.

We’ve seen this city celebrate together, rebuild together, serve together, and show up for one another when it matters most. That's why Houston means so much to us.

We care deeply about the people who call Houston home. We care about the needs that exist in our communities. And we care enough to help build the relationships, partnerships, and networks that allow churches and organizations to respond with greater unity and greater impact.

Because loving a city means more than saying you love it. It means showing up for it.

Houston, this is what unity looks like. 🙌🏽

Last week HoustonPrayer247 hosted Communion Houston, believers from across our city gathered as one body, at one table, serving one God and it was a powerful picture of what can happen when the Church comes together across communities, denominations, and neighborhoods.

At Houston Impact Network, we believe there is incredible Kingdom impact when churches choose connection over isolation and unity over division. One Church. One City. One Kingdom. ❤️🙏🏽

Housing instability and homelessness affect individuals and families across our city in ways that are often complex and deeply personal. Addressing those challenges takes more than one organization, one church, or one solution.

At Houston Impact Network, we believe the Church can play an important role by listening, learning, building relationships, and partnering with those already doing meaningful work in our community.

Our Housing & Homelessness Collaborative Forums bring local leaders and experts together to talk honestly about the realities of homelessness in Houston, the barriers people face in finding stable housing, and practical ways churches can respond with compassion, resources, and long-term support.

When we come together, share what we know, and work toward solutions side by side, we can help create stronger pathways toward stability and hope.
